Had a work period today. We had time to do some Accelerated math and Cumulative math up to Exercise 29.

We also heard a story about some kids in alberta no longer have to do homework, we have to give our take on that.

Today we did the last Log law, the changing base law..

Logarithmic Laws

Today we learned 2 log laws

Loga(MN) = LogaM+LogaN

Log a(M/N) = LogaM-Log aN

Then practiced solving.

Logarithmic Functions

Today we started solving Logarithmic functions.

Such as y=logbx

Where:

y= the logarithm
b= the base
x= the argument

Also wrote logs to exponential form and back again.

Such as....

Log(2)8=3 would be 2(3) =8

Intro To Exponentials / Work Period

Yesterday we started exponential functions.
Seems pretty straight forward, basically just solving for X via exponents.
Need to brush up on exponents up to 5 or so.
Today we had a work period.
